2016年11月，公司成功掛牌新三板（股票名稱：寧新新材 股票代碼：839719），以嶄新的發展思路步入資本市場。2017年8月，公司成立控股子公司江西寧和達新材料有限公司，致力于特種石墨精加工業務，對特種石墨產業鏈進行延伸，實現材料供應商向產業服務商的轉變。2018年6月，公司成立控股子公司江西寧易邦新材料有限公司，致力于中粗結構特種石墨、石墨電極、石墨異型件的加工和銷售，實現產品多元化發展。2021年11月，公司成立全資子公司江西寧昱鴻新材料有限公司，致力于鋰電行業配套產品研發生產。企業圍繞特種石墨上下游進行產業鏈互補強化，并著手進軍新能源領域，逐步將公司打造成集石墨材料、石墨深加工產品、新能源材料、石墨烯產業化等多種業務為一體的石墨產品基地——“中國墨都”。
