佛山佛塑科技集團股份有限公司成立于1988年6月。2000年5月在深圳證券交易所掛牌上市（證券簡稱：佛塑科技 證券代碼：000973），是“國家火炬計劃重點高新技術企業”“國家技術創新示范企業”和國務院國資委“科改示范企業”。

公司專注于高分子功能薄膜與復合材料的研發與生產，圍繞新材料主業發展定位，形成以光學薄膜、雙向拉伸薄膜、滲析防護材料和塑編阻隔材料為重點的產業布局，為新能源、電工電氣、光電顯示、醫療衛生等戰略性新興產業提供核心功能薄膜材料，電容薄膜、偏光膜、透氣膜等核心產品突破關鍵技術“卡脖子”難題，具有行業引領性。

As the only strategic industry and new material enterprise in Guangdong Province, it is the enterprise which Guangdong Plastic Engineering Technology R&D Center relies on.
